It was with deep sorrow that we learnt of the death of His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh on 9th April. He passed away peacefully at Windsor Castle.
Condolences to Her Majesty The Queen and all her family at this very sad time,
We remember him with affection and gratitude for his support to the Queen, his sense of humour and dedication to his duties. Many young people are especially thankful for his initiation of the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, work with wildlife and the Armed Forces.
A National minutes silence will be held at 3pm on Saturday 17th April, the day of his funeral.
Due to Covid restrictions we have been requested not to open books of condolence but messages can be left on the website www.royal.uk
RIP Prince Philip.
