About Us

The Parish Council usually meet on the 4th Tuesday of the month in Chelmarsh Parish Hall at 7.30pm. Parishioners are welcome to attend all meetings and can address the Parish Council with any issues causing concern at the beginning of each meeting.
 
 

About the Council

Parish Council meetings are normally held on the 4th Tuesday of the month in the Parish Hall commencing at 7.30pm with the exception of August and December when meetings are not held. Notices and agendas of the meeting are put on the notice boards at the Parish Hall and in Bakehouse Lane and on this website under 'Meetings'.
At the beginning of each meeting parishioners are welcome to raise any items of concern with the Councillors. If you are unable to attend the meeting please contact the Clerk or a Councillor.  

Gillian Bailey has recently joined the Parish Council as our Clerk following the retirement of Mrs Freda Morris.  She holds the  CiLCA (Certificate in Local Council Administration) qualification and also 'Working with your Council' qualification.

Councillors can be contacted at all reasonable times who will bring any concerns to the attention of the Parish Council - an individual Councillor cannot make any decisions on behalf of the Parish Council.
