At its meeting on 27th January 2026 Chelmarsh Parish Council agreed its budget and precept for the year 2026 - 2027.

The agreed figure of £14,230 is an increase of just £15 on the previous year.  There will be a small increase of 0.89% or £0.03p per week for a band D property.
This is due to the decrease in the council tax base.
